Yes. Jana can generate alerts related to toileting and voiding when caregiver charting indicates a change that may need clinical review.
These alerts are commonly triggered by changes in continence patterns, such as a resident appearing more or less continent than their baseline.
If there are residents who have not had a bowel movement in three or more days, this will be highlighted in the Toileting Overview within the Neighborhood section.
When voiding related alerts occur:
• They appear as Active Alerts with a badge in the Neighborhood navigation
• Nurses can open Active Alerts to review each alert individually and determine the appropriate next step
In some cases, a voiding related alert may also prompt the nurse to start a Voiding Study directly from the alert if further assessment is needed.
