Yes. Messaging in Jana is designed for resident-specific communication.

Think of each message thread as a group message where the resident is the subject. Messages related to a resident are shared with staff so everyone involved in that resident’s care stays informed.

Key things to know about messaging:
• Any staff member can send a message
• All staff who are currently signed in will receive the message
• All staff can view the full message history for the resident
• Messages are marked unread for any staff member who has not yet viewed them

This ensures clear, shared communication around resident care and helps prevent important information from being missed.
