When you create a new announcement for a facility or for the entire organization, you can choose how long the announcement remains visible to caregivers.
By default, announcements are visible for 7 days, but this duration can be adjusted to any length of time 7 days or less, based on your needs. This setting applies to both:
Announcements that require acknowledgment, and
FYI announcements that do not require acknowledgment
Once the visibility period expires:
The announcement will no longer appear for caregivers
Required acknowledgment announcements will no longer prompt caregivers to acknowledge the message
The announcement will no longer display on the Jana app homepage
The message will not be visible or viewable by caregivers in any area of the app
In the Jana Hub, nurses will still have access to a complete history of all announcements. Expired announcements are clearly labeled as Expired for reference and compliance tracking.
