At this time, there is no dedicated field to add a specialized diet directly on the resident profile in Jana.
To communicate a resident’s specialized diet, the recommended workaround is to use a Sticky.
To add a specialized diet using a Sticky:
Navigate to the resident profile.
Select Stickies from the resident menu.
Create a new Sticky that clearly describes the resident’s specialized diet.
Pin the Sticky so it remains visible.
Once pinned:
• The Sticky will appear prominently on the resident profile in the Jana app
• Caregivers will see the diet information when viewing the resident or charting care
• The information will remain visible on the resident’s sticky list view
This ensures caregivers are consistently aware of dietary requirements during care.
