How are resident stickies different from messages?

Stickies and messages both support resident-specific communication, but they serve different purposes.

Resident Stickies

Stickies are resident-specific notes that provide ongoing, reference information for caregivers.

Stickies are:
• Visible to all caregivers
• Used for personal preferences, detailed ADL reminders, and other important resident information
• Able to be pinned, which keeps them visible in the app at all times
• Available but not always visible if they are not pinned

Stickies are best used for information caregivers need to remember consistently during care.

Messages

Messages are resident-specific communication threads used to share information with other staff members.

Messages are:
• Intended for communication, not permanent reference
• Visible to all staff
• Marked unread until viewed by each staff member
• Used to relay updates or information that may change over time

Summary

Stickies are best for ongoing reminders and preferences, while messages are best for sharing updates and communication among staff.
